A. MARIKANI, Ph.D., has been Professor and Head (retired), Department of Physics, Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. He has 37 years of teaching experience in Engineering Physics and more than 17 years of teaching experience in Materials Science. Also, he has more than 20 years of research experience. He has published more than 40 research papers in International and National journals of repute in the field of Thin Films, Nanomaterials and Nanowires. He has also authored several books. In addition, he has collaborative research works with research institutions in India, such as IGCAR, Kalpakkam and CECRI, Karaikudi. He has three sponsored research projects to his credit and guided three research scholars for their Ph.D. degree. He has been granted 2 Indian patents.
