ENGINEERING CHEMISTRY - ABOUT AUTHOR(S)


Hemant Kumar Joshi, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Nanhi Pari Seemant Engineering Institute, Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, the campus institute of VMSB UTU, Dehradun. With over eleven years of teaching experience, he has published more than ten research papers in reputable national and international journals and has authored four articles that have been published in conference proceedings. Additionally, he has contributed three chapters to the UOU, B.Sc. III year book and published an edited book. Also, his contribution includes two books, one International patent (granted) and one National patent (published). His research interest encompasses the fields of hydrogeochemistry, biosorption, and phytoremediation. He has also created e-content in the fields of chemistry, engineering chemistry, and environmental studies.


Narendra Singh Bhandari, Ph.D., is Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at SSJ Campus, Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora, Uttarakhand. He is the founder Vice Chancellor of Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora, Uttarakhand. With a long experience of 32 years in teaching and research, he has published over sixty research papers in esteemed national and international journals. Also, he has contributed three chapters in different books.

His contribution consists of four books, one general book, and one published patent. He has been a member of the UKPSC, Uttarakhand for a duration of two and a half years. Currently, he is engaged in the research area of adsorptive elimination of heavy metal ions from synthetic wastewater through the utilization of bio-sorbents derived from waste plant biomass found in the Kumaun hills of Uttarakhand.


Sushil Kumar Joshi, Ph.D., is Professor of Chemistry, as well as serving as the Dean of the Science Faculty and Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) at Soban Singh Jeena University, Almora. He has about 40 years of experience in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He has been Campus Head at Kumaun University and served as the Head of Department at Soban Singh Jeena University Almora for one and a half years. From August 2020 to April 2023, he held the position of Controller of Examination at Soban Singh Jeena University. He has published 34 scholarly research papers and is guide to nine Ph.D. students (three are awarded doctorate). His area of research encompasses the fields of Physical, Inorganic, and Environmental Chemistry.
