Mahabal Ram, Ph.D., Professor (Emeritus)/Advisor, SHIATS Allahabad. He has been a scientist at various laboratories of ICAR in different capacities. He has developed several new varieties of crop plants, particularly wheat, rice and barley. He has made tremendous contribution to the nation in the field of plant breeding.
Dr. Mahabal Ram has published several research papers in national and international journal of repute. He has authored books on Cytogenetics and Plant Breeding. His major research interests include Genetics, Cytogenetics and Plant Breeding.
