R. C. MISHRA (PhD) was Director, Aryavart Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow. Earlier was Professor and Head, Department of Engineering and Mining Machinery, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. During his life time he was actively engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students of engineering for more than 30 years. He had considerable research work to his credit in the field of maintenance engineering and reliability assessment of mining equipment.
K. PATHAK (PhD) is Professor in the Department of Mining Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He possesses a vast expe-rience in teaching engineering subjects and the associated research work.
