KAMARAJU RAMAKRISHNA is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at GVP College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam. A seasoned professional, he has more than 25 years of practical experience in machine design, manufacturing and turnkey project management, including 14 years experience in teaching. He has taught automobile engineering, design of machine members, IC engines, and power plant engineering. He was also a visiting faculty at Mekelle University at Ethiopia. Earlier, he worked with Associated Cement Companies, Larsen & Toubro, Braithwaite and Ispat Group of Kolkata in the areas of design, project engineering and management, besides working with the world famous company Krupp (Germany) for about a year. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a Member of Carl Duisberg Gesellschaft e.v., Cologne (Germany).
