SRIRANJAN BANERJI, Ph.D., formerly Professor of Physics, The University of Burdwan and UGC Emeritus Fellow, Jadavpur University, is presently working in Relativity and Cosmology Research Centre, Department of Physics, Jadavpur University. He has more than 40 years of academic experience, especially in teaching the Theory of Relativity and Cosmology to M.Sc. students. Coauthor of General Relativity, Astrophysics and Cosmology (Springer Verlag, 1992), he has also published 88 research papers in prestigious international and national journals.
ASIT BANERJEE, Ph.D., is Professor, Department of Physics, Jadavpur University. With more than 38 years of teaching experience to his credit, he has coauthored General Relativity, Astrophysics and Cosmology (Springer Verlag, 1992) and published 102 research papers on General Relativity and Cosmology in reputed international and national journals.
