A.R.N. SRIVASTAVA (Ph.D., Arizona State University, USA) is a visiting faculty at Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHIATS) Deemed University, Naini, Allahabad. Earlier, he was Professor of Anthropology at University of Allahabad. He was also an Instructor of Anthropology at Wake Forest University, North Carolina (USA). An associate of Current Anthropology (USA) and a life member of Indian Anthropological Association, New Delhi, Professor Srivastava has done extensive fieldwork in tribal-rural regions of Chhotanagpur (Jharkhand) and Bastar (Madhya Pradesh). With over three decades of teaching experience, he has authored several books, including Social Anthropology in India, The Development Dimension of Domestic Groups in India, Tribal Encounter Industry, and Changing Values and Tribal Societies.
