P. VENKATESH, PhD, SMIEEE, is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. He did his postdoctoral research work at the Pennsylvania State University, USA, under the BOYSCAST Fellowship award received by him in the year 2006 from the Department of Science and Technology (DST). Dr. Venkatesh has published/presented many papers in international and national journals and conferences. He has 20 years of teaching experience at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
B.V. MANIKANDAN, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi. He has been the recipient of project grants from DRDO, Hyderabad, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) and AICTE-RPS schemes. Dr. Manikandan has 25 years experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. He has to his credit nearly 45 papers presented in international conferences and 32 papers published in international journals. His main area of interest includes Power System Restructuring, Drives and Control, Application of FACTS Devices and Smart Grid.
S. CHARLES RAJA, PhD, MIEEE, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai. He is a recipient of Young Scientist Fellowship Award 2010–2011 by Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, and Career Award for Young Teachers (CAYT) 2014–2017 by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India. He has published/presented 34 papers in international/national journals and conferences. His areas of interest include Smart Grid, Power System Deregulation and Power System Optimization.
A. SRINIVASAN, PhD, is Professor and PG Programme Head in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Sethu Institute of Technology, Kariapatti. He has more than 15 years experience of teaching both postgraduate and undergraduate students. His main area of interest is Power System Restructuring and Solar Energy.
