J. SETHI (M.A., Linguistics and English Language Teaching, Leeds University; Ph.D., English Phonetics) has been Professor of English, Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad. He also served as coordinator (1986–91) of the UGC Curriculum Development Centre for English. Dr. Sethi has rich experience in training teachers and students in Phonetics and Spoken English. He has also published six other books and a number of articles.
K. SADANAND, Ph.D., former Professor and Head, Department of Phonetics and Spoken English, Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages, Hyderabad, has taught general and English phonetics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels for over three decades. She has written a book and several articles on English language and its pronunciation.
Dr. D. V. JINDAL, Ph.D., was a senior faculty member of the Postgraduate Department of English, Government College, Ludhiana, Punjab. He has several books to his credit.
