ANDRÉ PITTET, Ph.D., is Chief Technical Advisor, Centre for Electronics Design and Technology (CEDT), Indian Institute of Science (IISc.), Bangalore. Dr. Pittet is actively involved in teaching-learning processes, curriculum development, web-based learning, instructional design, and quality issues in higher technical education. His interests are in the fields of power electronics, motor and their control.
A. KANDASWAMY, Ph.D., is Professor and Dean, Department of Electrical Sciences, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. He has been teaching Electronics subjects including Electron Devices and Circuits to under-graduate and postgraduate students for the past 35 years. He has been actively involved in curriculum development for undergraudate and post-graduate programmes in Electronics and Communication Engineering. His current research work is in the area of signal processing, medical image processing, and applications of soft computing in medicine.
