M.D. DESAI,Ph.D., is Professor in Instrumentation and Control Engineering at the Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat University and holds a Master’s in Measurement and Instrumentation from the University of Roorkee.
Dr. Desai has more than 42 years of teaching experience including 30 years in Instrumentation and Control Engineering. He has published more than 30 research papers. He is a recipient of the coveted ME Gold Medal of the University of Roorkee, the K.F. Anita Award of The Institution of Engineers (India), and the Excellence Award for research in science and technology of the Federation of Gujarat Industries.
