FAISAL AHMED, Ph.D., is Professor of International Business at FORE School of Management, New Delhi. His research and consulting areas include global value chains, trade policy, geopolitics, entrepreneurship, and SDGs. He also holds an Executive Certification in Geopolitical Analysis from Geneva, Switzerland. He held the position of consultant to the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and other organisations. Also, he has led projects supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GoI. Dr. Ahmed has published several research papers in Scopus and Clarivate indexed journals, besides publishing two edited books and three monographs. His articles have appeared in leading newspapers in India and abroad. Dr. Ahmed is also frequently interviewed as an expert by national and international media.


M. ABSAR ALAM, M.A. Economics, is Assistant Professor of Economics at M. K. S. College, L. N. Mithila University, Darbhanga, Bihar. Prior to this, he has worked as trade and transport facilitation expert with Asian Development Bank (ADB). He has also served as Economist and Consultant with Asian Institute of Transport Development (AITD), a think tank having special consultative status with the United Nations, and with RITES Ltd., a public sector undertaking under the aegis of Ministry of Railways, GoI. His areas of consulting and research include macroeconomic studies, infrastructure development, regional cooperation and trade facilitation. He has published articles and research papers on the topics related to macroeconomic environment and international trade.
