A. MARIKANI, Ph.D., former Professor and Head, Department of Physics, Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. With more than three decades of teaching experience in Engineering Physics and more than 20 years of teaching experience in Materials Science, he has published several research papers in International and National journals in the field of Thin Film Physics, Nanomaterials and Nanowires. He has also authored several books. Besides doing collaborative research with many research institutes in India, he has three sponsored research projects to his credit. In addition, three research scholars have completed Ph.D. under his guidance.
