Dr. FRANCIS CHERUNILAM, a Postgraduate in Economics as well as Business Administration, and a PG Diploma holder in Development Planning and Management is a doctorate in the area of International Business/Economics. A prolific writer, Dr. Cherunilam has to his credit over 60 books and more than 200 research papers and articles spanning over Management, Commerce, Economics, Demography, Habitat, etc. Most of these books are best sellers in the respective areas. The Garyounis University, Libya, has published the Arabic version of his book International Economics. Some of his works have been published in Hindi too. His book on Business Environment: Text and Cases, which is in its 32nd edition and which has had several reprints, is the first comprehensive Indian book on this subject. His books are recommended for postgraduate and graduate courses in Management, Commerce, Economics, Law, Public Administration, Computer Applications, Architecture, Demography, etc. in Universities and Institutes throughout India and in some Universities abroad. A number of them are in the list of recommended books by the UGC and AICTE for various courses.
He is a winner of the first Air India Award for ‘Teachers for Excellence’. In 2008, he received the ‘Best Seller Book’ award for this popular book International Business. He is founder editor of some reputed journals.
Dr. Cherunilam has been a consultant to several public and private organisations and member of Board of Directors of some companies. He is a founder member of Indian Professional Congress. Currently, he is Director of Cherunilam Associates–Consultants, Researchers and Publishers.
